Concierge
The rest of the Cartagena trip,
handled.
We've run trips for groups of four to forty-two over eleven years. Most guests use us for more than the keys. Here is what we book most often.
Boats
Private boats to the Rosario islands.
Half-day, full-day or multi-day charters. We use four captains we trust personally and have known for ten years. Boats range from a clean 35-ft Bayliner to a 75-ft sailing yacht.

Day boat to the Rosario archipelago
40 ft Cobalt or 50 ft Sea Ray. Captain, mate, fruit, drinks, snorkel gear. Pulls out of the Club Náutico marina at 9, back before sunset. Ten-person comfortable, fourteen tight.

Private yacht charter
75–110 ft yachts for multi-day to the San Bernardo islands or Barú. Includes chef on board and a tender to drop you on private beaches. Books out twelve weeks ahead in high season.
Dining
Chef in the house, reservations in town.
Most of our mansions come with a chef who cooks breakfast and dinner included in the rate. For the nights you go out, we hold the tables that don't take OpenTable.

House chef service
Every mansion ships with a chef who cooks two meals a day in the price. Coastal Colombian by default: mojarra, arroz con coco, pargo rojo. We can swap to Italian, sushi, or full-vegan with a week of notice.

Reservations desk
Carmen, La Cevichería, Alma, Demente, Celele, La Vitrola. The places that don't take reservations through OpenTable, we book through our own line. Tell us when you're going and how many.
Day activities
The things to do beyond the pool.
Cooking classes, mud-volcano runs, mangrove kayaks. Things that won't take more than half a day and leave you free for the city at night.

Day trips
Volcán del Totumo mud volcano (90 min north), La Boquilla mangrove kayak, Bocachica fortress by panga. Each is a half-day. We book the transfer and the guide.

Cooking classes and rum tastings
Two-hour private cooking class with one of our chefs in the villa kitchen, or a guided rum tasting through ten Colombian aguardientes and rons.
Nightlife
Where the locals go.
We're not going to send you to a bar that takes American Express and plays Pitbull. These are the rooms that justify staying out until 4am in Cartagena.
Plaza Trinidad after midnight
The square the locals actually go to. We tell you which corner has the best pizza and which bar will let your group of eight skip the line.
Café Havana
Salsa from a live band, no cover before 11pm if you arrive with our concierge. The Buena Vista Social Club room from the documentary.
Alquímico
Three-floor cocktail bar in a colonial townhouse off Plaza San Diego. Reservation goes through us, not OpenTable.
Plan it with us
We'll send a one-page itinerary before you arrive.
Tell us when you're coming and what your group is into. We'll send boats, dinners, day trips and bar suggestions with prices and reservation status.
